1. Data Controller

TennoTenRyu Inh. Cesarano, Baarerstrasse 87, 6300 Zug, Switzerland (CHE-272.196.618) is the data controller responsible for your personal data processed via APEX Research Intelligence.

2. Data We Collect

• Contact data: Email address, company name, sector — submitted when running a research query or subscribing.
• Research inputs: Your research questions and sector context, used to deliver your output.
• Usage data: Query count, timestamp, delivery time — used for service quality and limit enforcement.
• Payment data: Processed exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant). We do not store card details.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

• Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / nDSG §31): Delivering research outputs.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Service improvement, fraud prevention.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Marketing communications via DOI confirmation only.

4. Data Retention

Research queries and outputs are retained for 90 days. Subscriber contact data is retained for the subscription period plus 24 months. Request earlier deletion at any time.

5. Third-Party Processors

• Stripe: Payment processing (USA/EU, SCCs in place)
• Resend: Transactional email delivery
• OpenAI / Anthropic / Google: AI inference (data not retained for training per DPA agreements)
